HALLOWEEN ADVENTURE FAIRE
Join PLAN Gaming for a night of adventure with Dungeons & Dragons games, activities, light refreshments, and a special screening by Worlds Elsewhere Theatre Company of the play from the writer of Disney’s Raya, "She Kills Monsters." The screening will be followed by a live cast and crew talkback with Q&A!
The production is performed and streamed by the amazing team at Worlds Elsewhere Theatre Company. This play is itself a charity event, supporting Trans Lifeline and MermaidsUK -- trans community care organizations.
Attendance is free and open to the public, however a donation to the aforementioned groups and/or PLAN Gaming would be deeply appreciated to help further fund inclusive and collaborative imaginary adventures for everyone!
"She Kills Monsters tells the story of Agnes Evans as she leaves her childhood home in Ohio following the death of her teenage sister, Tilly. When Agnes finds Tilly’s Dungeons & Dragons notebook, however, she finds herself catapulted into a journey of discovery and action-packed adventure in the imaginary world that was her sister’s refuge. In this high-octane dramatic comedy laden with homicidal fairies, nasty ogres, and ’90s pop culture, acclaimed playwright Qui Nguyen offers a heart-pounding homage to the geek and warrior within us all."
